About our volunteer team
Our team of 30 volunteers goes above and beyond to stock our shelves and help neighbours access food. That includes:
unpacking food deliveries and setting up the food bank every Wednesday
welcoming and serving people every Thursday evening
We serve our clients in a unique way

Grace Pascoe Food Bank is one of just a few food banks in the city that is open at night and offers a shopping-style service for clients.
Rather than receiving a box or hamper with pre-selected food, our clients can pick their own food, with allocations based on family size.
This approach has been well received by the people we serve, who appreciate the ability to pick their own food.
