Volunteer with us

Volunteers are the heart of Grace Pascoe Food Bank!

Our dynamic team performs a variety of roles to assist clients, provide frontline service, help restock inventory and break down boxes. Our volunteers are welcome to come weekly or bi-weekly. We ask for a 6-month commitment.

About our volunteers

We have an incredible volunteer crew with two different teams:

1. Team 1 - Wednesdays from 10:30am to 3pm

• Receives shipments and donations from Daily Bread & Second Harvest

• Unloads trucks, sets up tables with inventory, bags bread, separates eggs, stacks milk and more

2. Team 2 - Thursdays from 5:30pm to 8:45pm

   • Welcomes, serves and assists clients who visit our food bank

   • Sets up, stays on site during opening hours and stays until clean-up is done
